Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a holistic practice that complements traditional medicine using hypnosis as an alternative treatment tool in helping to promote physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

Clinical research proves it to be an effective approach for stress management, overall health and to relieve the symptoms of some conditions.
It assists with behavior modification for self-improvement and personal development to create positive lifestyle changes in an individual.
Hypnotherapy is also an effective therapeutic process that can facilitate communication between the mind and body, motivating people to move forward to reach their goals.

It can help with the following, among other things:

• Behavior Modification• Stress Reduction• Coping With Loss
• Smoking Cessation• Weight Loss• Pain Management
• Sports Performance• Elimination of Fears• Self Confidence
• Healing• Sleep Disorders• Study Habits
• Stage Fright• Creativity• Trauma
• Pre-surgical Support• Childbirth• Dealing with Change
• Enhancing Relationships• Self Esteem• Relaxation

Certain issues with a medical or psychological etiology for which hypnosis proves effective may require written medical or other related licensed health professionals’ referral. Hypnotherapy is an integrative therapeutic approach when it partners with the medical community.

A professionally trained hypnotherapist is a certified behavioral counselor who can facilitate the hypnotic state in a safe, controlled environment to allow a client to accomplish his/her goals.

In my practice, after learning about your presenting problem in the first session, I test your suggestibility to determine how to best help you. Based on the information that you give me, I proceed with a customized therapeutic plan during hypnosis to help you release what is affecting you in the present and move on towards achieving your wants and needs. The length of therapeutic hypnosis will depend on your conscious desire and readiness to modify a behavior. You may not always be able to change your circumstances, but you may learn to perceive and respond to them differently for a more positive outcome.
